Silent Disarming - Gives the option to the user to disarm the panel without causing any beeping sound at the panel or peripheral keypads.
This feature is introduced on IQ4 and IQ4 HUB panels on software 4.6.1
Silent Disarming Feature only allows the user to disarm the panel without making the beeping sound when it is armed in "Stay Mode".
To being the process:
- Arm the system in "Stay Mode" or "Silent Arming" then select Stay Mode
- Once it is fully armed, a new additional bubble icon will show at the panel labelled as "Silent Disarm"
- By clicking on "Silent Disarm" it will begin the entry delay count down without beeping sound to disarm the system.
- If user still wants to entry beeps, instead of pressing the "Silent Disarm", they will have to press on "Arm Stay" to start the count down to disarm the beeping.
