Release Notes:
• Partitions 2.0:
• Global arming
• Global sound distribution for alarms
• Bluetooth Disarming by partition
• User Interface:
• All new Home Automation only page
• All new Wellness only page
• Option to turn off the Security page. This feature is designed to be used when offering standalone home
automation or wellness services and when security is not needed.
• Option to turn off the Lock page and the Thermostat page
• New dynamic Screen Lock page. Can be enabled independent of partitions
• Liftmaster Garage Door Control:
• The Panel now displays UI for Liftmaster GDO devices that are paired to Alarm.com. This feature allows
control of Liftmaster devices directly from the Panel screen
• Scenes:
• Control Alarm.com scenes directly from the panel. This setting is disabled by default but can be enabled
from the panel or from AirFX
• IQ Remote:
• Connectivity improvements
• Alarm Videos via built-in camera
• LiveView Alarm.com cameras and video doorbell on IQ Remote secondary keypad. Video only, no audio.
• Z-Wave:
• Panel support for Z-Wave version 6.81.03, which includes S2 security and SmartStart. (Note: 6.81.03 will
only be loaded on panels that are manufactured with 2.4.0 and not for panels that receive 2.4.0 OTA)
• SmartStart enables faster, easier enrollment by using the built-in Panel Camera to scan the QR code
on SmartStart enabled devices. Simply scan the device and power it up
• Support for LQI 2 (link quality indicators)
• Emergency heat mode for Z-Wave thermostats now supported
• Easy Install Wizard:
• Added pages for Sensor Signal Strength test and IQ Remote secondary keypad learning
• 80.25 PowerG Modem Firmware Update:

• PowerG:
• PowerG PIR CAM (PG9934 & PG9944) images now push to Alarm.com with correct device type and name
• Support for “Peek-in Now” on PowerG PIR CAM (PG9934 & PG9944) from Alarm.com
• Pairing improvement for sensors that do not correctly associate at time of learn in. Sensors will now show
in the “not networked” state and will go into RF failure following the RF supervision setting on the Panel
• Turn off PowerG siren (PG9901 & PG9911) during two-way voice calls
• Removed PowerG incompatibility pop up when trying to auto learn older PG9914 & PG9933 devices if the
daughter card has been updated to 80.25 and is now compatible

Update Instructions:
Compatibility Note: Your IQ Panel must be on software version 2.0.1 or higher and connected to Wi-Fi to install
this update wirelessly.
1- Swipe down from the top of the screen and touch “Settings"
2- Touch “Advanced Settings”
3- Enter a valid installer code (default is 1111)
4- Touch "Upgrade Software"
5 -Touch “Patch Tag” and enter the patch iqpanel2.4.0 then touch OK
6- Touch "Upgrade Using Network" (panel must be connected to Wi-Fi). Update will download and install
7- Once complete touch "OK" to reboot the panel. DO NOT TOUCH THE SCREEN. The update process will
take approximately 5 minutes. After the panel reboots the home screen will appear and the LED will turn green.
