RE: IQ2 1.4 SOFTWARE UPDATE
RELEASE NOTES & UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS
Release Notes:
For existing IQ2’s running 1.2 software that update over-the-air to 1.4 software, the following release
notes apply:
1) Added Silent Arming
2) Added Home Control
For new IQ2’s shipping on factory 1.4 software, the following release notes apply:
1) Added Silent Arming
2) Added Home Control
3) IQ2’s can now “wake on touch”
4) Added MAC Address tracking
5) Removed 3rd party apps
6) System changes for future automatic upgrades of IQ2 via the IQ Panel
Update Instructions:
Note: In order to update your IQ2 software from 1.2 to 1.4 over the air, the IQ2 must be paired with an IQ Panel that is running software 1.4.3. If your IQ Panel is running software 1.4.2 or lower, please update to 1.4.3 before updating your IQ2 to version 1.4.
1) From the IQ Panel touch "Settings"
2) Enter a valid installer code (default is 1111)
3) Touch "Installation"
4) Touch "Upgrade Software"
5) Touch “Patch Tag” and enter the patch remote14 then touch Done, then OK
6) Touch "IQ2 Panel Upgrade Using Network" and the update will download
7) Press OK when prompted to send the update over the WI-FI network to any IQ2’s that are paired with the panel.
8) Follow the on screen prompts on the IQ2 to accept and install the 1.4 update. Once installed the the IQ2 will relaunch the software. Verify that it has been successfully updated by going to More>About. The Software Version should read: IQ2 - 1.4
