RE: NOTICE REGARDING IQ2 PANELS THAT SHIPPED WITH INVALID SOFTWARE
Overview:
Some IQ2 Secondary Tablets that shipped between 5/25/15 - 8/7/15 were pre-loaded with invalid
software causing them to not function properly.
Affected Qolsys SKU’s:
- IQ2 Secondary Tablets (QW9100-840-00), shipped between 5/25/15 - 8/7/15, running software
version Q1.4rc1
Recommended Action:
Please choose one of the following two options:
1. SEND ONLY AFFECTED UNITS FOR EXCHANGE: Power up IQ2 units on hand and check the software version under MORE>ABOUT>SOFTWARE VERSION. The correct version should read Q1.4. Affected units will read Q1.4rc1. If any units are found with the affected software please request an exchange RMA for only the affected quantity by emailing Carla Sendig (carla.sendig@qolsys.com). Affected units will be updated to the proper software and sent back to you.
2. SEND ALL UNITS BACK FOR EXCHANGE: Send all IQ2 units received between 5/25/15 - 8/7/15 back to Qolsys. Qolsys will verify the software of each unit and if any are found affected they will be updated to the proper software and then all units will be sent back to you. If you prefer this option, please request an exchange RMA for the entire quantity of IQ2’s on hand by emailing Carla Sendig (carla.sendig@qolsys.com).
