IQ Dimmer PG - Specifications and Operation

The IQ Dimmer PG communicates over PowerG.

This means that the dimmer can control power to a device (such as a light) in the following ways:

1) Manually: The user can press the top button to turn the power (hold to increase the brightness); and press the bottom button to turn the power off (hold to decrease the brightness).
2) Through the IQ Panel and IQ Remote touch screen.
3) Through Alarm.com’s user app.
4) Using Alarm.com scenes.

200W Incandescent light.
100W CFL/LED light.

Temperature: (Indoor use only)

Operating Temperature: 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F)
Storage Temperature: -20°C to 60°C (4°F to 140°F)

Hardware components:

Note: The purpose of the Air Gap is to act as a safety measure, when the air gap is removed power is disconnected from the load (appliance connected to the dimmer), this is ideal when changing a lightbulb for example.
