Water sensor setting off alarm every hour

Water sensors are common. They are a special group type with the IQ Panel because there are two sub-types; Multi-function, and Flood-2. For IQ Flood sensors, you must use the first sub-type, Multi function. For ALL other 3rd party made Water sensors, you need to program it as the second sub-type, flood-2. If programmed in the incorrect sub-type, you will see false alarms approximately every 64 minutes.
