What happens when the IQ Panel loses power?

In the event of a power loss, by default the IQ Panel will enter a power saving mode (Power Management) which can be toggled through the installer settings. Touch "Settings" and enter installer code (default is 1111) Touch "Installation" Touch "Security Account" Then check or uncheck the "Power Management" box to enable or disable this feature When Power Management is turned on this will shut down various processes to conserve battery power allowing the Panel to function for a 24hr period of time. Some of these processes include turning off the Z-Wave radio and turning off the screen after a preselected time Disabling this feature will allow the panel to run with all processes running therefore limiting the battery life to 6-8hrs of run time.
