RE: IQ PANEL 1.4.2 SOFTWARE UPDATE
RELEASE NOTES & UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS
Release Notes:
1- Support for new Sensor Types
• Doorbell
• Shock
• Multi-Function Door/Window
• Multi-Function Smoke Detector
2- Z-Wave Improvements
• Increased Z-Wave Light limit from 18 to 30
• Added GUI and ability for up to 10 “Other Devices” (Repeaters, etc.)
• Added support for Z-wave light bulbs, heavy duty switch and breaker
3- Improved bi-directional syncing between Alarm.com and the IQ Panel for User Codes and Sensor Names
4- French language added to the bi-lingual toggle App (now includes English, Spanish & French)
5- New Clock/Weather Photo Frame option
6- Updated Weather Icons
7- Improved WIFI and SRF handling along with other various bug fixes and system improvements

Update Instructions:
Note: This is an incremental update. Your IQ Panel must be on software version Q1.4.1 and connected to Wi-Fi to install this update wirelessly. If your panel's software version is Q1.3.4 or lower you will need to update to 1.4.1 before you will be able to update to 1.4.2. Please contact techsupport@qolsys.com if you need additional assistance.
1- Touch "Settings"
2- Enter a valid installer code (default is 1111)
3- Touch "Installation"
4- Touch "Upgrade Software"
5- Touch "Upgrade Using Network" (panel must be connected to Wi-Fi) Update will download and install
6- Once complete touch "OK" to reboot the panel. DO NOT TOUCH THE SCREEN. The process will take about
5 minutes and the buttons may turn red, screen may turn off, etc. After the panel reboots the home screen will appear and the buttons will turn green. For the next 5 minutes the panel will update the backup partition. Do not power down or use the panel during this time.
