RELEASE NOTES & UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS
Includes all new features and fixes from the 2.2.0 software update (https://dealers.qolsys.com/wp-content/uploads/
2018/07/TSB-180716-220-Update.pdf) plus the following features and fixes:

New Features:
• Add an option for Dealers & Installers to re-launch the Easy Install Wizard on the next power up.
Fixes/Improvements:
• Improved reliability and performance for Live Answer and Live View.
• Added fix to filter out the unnecessary Motion Activated messages being sent from panel to Alarm.com.
• Fixes a Chime and Voice issue that erroneously resets the settings to the Nighttime Mode Settings after a
software update.
• Addresses an issue where extra zones (130 - 136) could be present on Alarm.com.
• Fixed an issue where the panel could report cellular signal strength values while disconnected from the
network.
• Eliminate most “Alarm.com” and “Qolsys” wording in panel software to remove conflicts with some Dealer
branding approaches.
Update Instructions:
Compatibility Note: Your IQ Panel must be on software version 2.0.1 or higher and connected to Wi-Fi to install
this update wirelessly.
1- Swipe down from the top of the screen and touch “Settings"
2- Touch “Advanced Settings”
3- Enter a valid installer code (default is 1111)
4- Touch "Upgrade Software"
5 -Touch “Patch Tag” and enter the patch iqpanel2.2.1 then touch OK
6- Touch "Upgrade Using Network" (panel must be connected to Wi-Fi). Update will download and install
7- Once complete touch "OK" to reboot the panel. DO NOT TOUCH THE SCREEN. The update process will
take approximately 5 minutes. After the panel reboots the home screen will appear and the LED will turn green.
