RE: UNUSED INPUTS ON IQ PRO OR IQ HARDWIRE POWERG
Technical Note: When hardwired inputs are not being utilized on the IQ Pro or IQ Hardwire PowerG (including
zone expanders), it is important to note the following:
Please delete those zones that are not being utilized from the Panel UI / IQ Installer Interface prior to leaving the
site – if these unused inputs are disabled instead of deleted – it is possible during a software update or panel
reboot that inputs that are in a disabled state may become “active” again. In the future if deleted zones are
required, please follow the below steps.
For IQ 2+, IQ Hub, IQ Panel 4 or IQ4 Hub utilizing the panel UI:
• Installation
• Devices
• Security Sensors
• Add Sensor
• Enter the PowerG ID of the IQ Hardwire PowerG module (Starts with 460)
• Hardwire Input (choose the zone(s) you wish to add into the system
For IQ Pro utilizing the IQ Installer Interface:
• Configuration
• Installation
• Devices
• Security Sensor
• Select Panel (corbus module)
• Click the “+” sign
• Add child sensor
• Select Hardwire input that you are re-adding to the system
• Configure the input and click save
