IQ4/IQ4 Hub and IQ Pro How to Enroll PG9936

How to enroll the PG9936:

  1. Put your IQ4 panel in Auto-learn. Go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer or Dealer Code (1111 or 2222) > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Auto Learn.
  2. Take out all 3 batteries in the PG9936.  It must be all of them.
  3. Put all the batteries back in the PG9936.  After you hear the beep, the sensor will appear on the IQ4 panel’s Auto-learn screen.
  4. You will see a page on the IQ4 that says Sensor xxx-xxxx is requesting to be added. Hit okay and follow the instructions on the screen to add the device.  Everything can generally be left default. The most common thing installers want to change is the name of the device. Make sure to save it at the end by hitting "Add New."

Troubleshooting:

  • If the PG9936 does not enroll after putting the batteries back in, please:
    • remove all the batteries again
    • Hold test button for 10 seconds then release or wait 1 min without batteries installed.
    • Put the batteries back in and wait for the beep while keeping the IQ4 on the Auto-Learn page
    • If it still does not enroll you can enroll manually by going to Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer or Dealer Code (1111 or 2222) > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Add Sensor.  Change the Source on the bottom right to PowerG, and then type in the DL ID that is printed on both the box and the sensor.
