Send a message to a Qolsys IQ Panel 2 / 2+

Enterprise Notices allow dealers to send messages to be displayed
locally at the panel. There are multiple default messages to choose from
that can be sent to the panel. This feature does not allow personalized
messages to be sent to panel.
Currently, the messages are only available in English.

To send a message to a Qolsys IQ Panel 2:

Enterprise Notices can be sent using the Partner Portal or MobileTech app.
Important: The customer account must have the Enterprise Notices add-on selected on their service package to access this feature.

Using the Partner Portal:
  1. Log into the Partner Portal.
  2. Find the customer account.
  3. Click Remote Toolkit.
  4. In the *Command Catalog, click to expand General*.
  5. Click Send Enterprise Notice.
  6. Using theMessagedropdown menu, select the desired message.
  7. In Body, a preview of the message formatting (i.e., line breaks) based on the panel version is displayed.
  8. If the message includes a custom parameter (i.e., Have a question), enter the information in Parametersbefore sending the message.
    • If the parameters have a maximum character limit, the limit is displayed as (String (##)). In the following example, the Dealer name has a character limit of 50 and the Phone number has a character limit of 18. Note: The parameters do not check for character type (e.g., numbers, letters, punctuation, etc.) so verify the information is correct before sending the message.  Send Enterprise Notices.png
  9. Click Send. Allow a few minutes for the message to send to the panel. There are no beeps or sounds at the panel when the message is received. There is not a way to remotely clear the Enterprise Notice message. However, sending a second message does replace the current message.
Using the MobileTech app:
  1. Log into the MobileTech app.
  2. Find the customer account.
  3. Tap Remote Toolkit.
  4. In the *Command Catalog, click to expand General*.
  5. Tap Send Enterprise Notice.
  6. Using theMessagedropdown menu, select the desired message.
  7. In Body, a preview of the message formatting (i.e., line breaks) based on the panel version is displayed.
